Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a data-centric Programmer Manager to lead a team of developers and engineers supporting our data center operations. You will drive software programs that improve efficiency, scalability, and security across our infrastructure.

You will manage cross-functional programs, set objectives, and use data analytics to measure performance, mitigate risks, and deliver key milestones with clear KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience with data center infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
• Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
• Foster collaboration to optimize resource allocation and project success.
• Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common program pitfalls, including to identify and mitigate risks.
• Regularly communicate with managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
