Job summary

Alibaba Cloud is seeking a Project Quality Engineer to support construction quality planning and on-site inspections for data center projects. You will oversee electrical, HVAC, fire protection, ELV, and building automation systems, manage NCRs, and drive corrective actions with project teams.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 3–5 years' experience in quality management or site quality control within data centers or MEP projects, with strong reading of MEP drawings and ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
• 3–5 years in quality management or site quality control for data centers or MEP projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP construction practices and inspection standards.
• Ability to read MEP drawings and understand electrical/HVAC/BA systems.
• Experience with quality systems such as ISO 9001, ITP, NCR, 8D, 5-Why.

Responsibilities

• Support quality planning, ITP development, and stage acceptance criteria.
• Conduct incoming inspections and witness inspections for critical activities.
• Oversee quality across electrical, HVAC, fire protection, ELV, and BAS.
• Manage NCRs and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform quality audits and track improvement actions across contractors.
