Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a QA/QC Mechanical professional to oversee installation and performance of mechanical and precision cooling systems on a data centre construction site. You will ensure compliance with international standards and zero-downtime requirements, leading quality assurance processes across the project.

Responsibilities include on-site inspections of HVAC, chilled water systems, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC, fire protection and fuel oil systems; managing Method Statements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• 2–3 years of data centre or mission-critical facilities experience.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary site teams.
• Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site inspections for mechanical systems including HVAC, chilled water piping, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC units, fire protection and fuel oil systems.
• Review, approve and manage quality records such as Method Statements, RFIs, material approval requests and Test Reports to maintain audit readiness.
• Participate in FAT/SAT for critical mechanical machinery, ensuring zero defects before commissioning.
• Identify mechanical quality deviations, issue NCRs, and track corrective and preventive actions by subcontractors.
• Inspect incoming mechanical materials/equipment against approved datasheets and submittals; ensure subcontractors adhere to international standards.
