Job summary

MatchaTalent seeks an Electrical Engineer (Data Center) to design, validate, and deliver reliable electrical infrastructure for large-scale data center projects. You will oversee the engineering lifecycle, including system design, evaluation, equipment selection, and on-site support to ensure successful project delivery.

Collaborate with project leadership, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure compliance with local regulations and international data center standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering design, MEP, or technical project delivery.
• Experience leading engineering activities in data center or mission-critical projects.
• Hands-on delivery of large-scale data center facilities with complex electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV, UPS, generators, grounding, surge protection, power monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical system designs for large-scale data center projects (SLD, load calculations, distribution layouts, BOQ).
• Design/validate HV, MV, LV, UPS, generators, transformers, PDU and battery backup systems.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and data center standards.
• Lead design clarifications with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Coordinate with suppliers and on-site teams for issue resolution and commissioning.
• Prepare engineering documents, reports, and calculations.
