Job summary

CBRE Data Center Solutions seeks a Technical Project Manager (Contract) to lead the deployment of on-site cabling infrastructure for a flagship data center site. You will oversee planning, execution, and quality assurance of fiber, copper, and structured cabling work, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to meet strict safety and compliance standards.

The role requires hands-on site leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive projects to on-time, on-budget completion

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying network cabling infrastructure (fiber, copper, patching).
• Experience with data centers, enterprise IT, or telecom environments.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to verify progress and address concerns.
• Attend progress walks and validate completed works.
• Provide feedback and recommendations on issues identified.
• Assist cost manager in assessing claims and reviewing docs.
• Evaluate safety and quality issues with on-site oversight.
• Coordinate with CDC contact to receive inspection items prior to visits.
• Report weekly findings and recommendations to CDC and internal teams.
