Qoala is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to transform raw data into clear insights that drive business and product decisions. You will define KPIs, build dashboards, and analyze data with guidance from experienced data analysts.

You will gain hands-on experience with experiments, data cleaning, and collaboration across teams, while developing your statistical and SQL skills in a hybrid, 6‑month internship.

Qualifications

• Final-year student or recent graduate with foundational knowledge of statistics and SQL.
• Basic proficiency in SQL is required.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies.

About The Role

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will support the team in transforming raw data into clear and actionable insights to support data-driven decision‑making across our business and product teams.

You will gain hands‑on experience in defining key performance metrics, building data visualizations, conducting data analysis, and supporting experiments. You will work closely with experienced Data Analysts and contribute to real business and product projects while developing your analytical and technical skills.

This role is ideal for final-year students or recent graduates with foundational knowledge of statistics and SQL, and a strong curiosity about uncovering insights from data.

What You’ll Do

• Assisting in identifying and defining key performance metrics (KPIs) aligned with business and product goals.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards using data visualization tools.
• Conducting preliminary data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a final year of, or recently graduated with, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in SQL is required.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.
• Basic understanding of database structures and data concepts; knowledge of data warehousing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies.
• Able to commit to a 6-month internship with a hybrid working arrangement (3 days per week in the office).
