Job summary

Qoala is seeking a Data Analyst Intern in Jakarta to transform raw data into actionable insights for our business and product teams. You will help define KPIs, build dashboards, and support experiments, gaining hands-on experience while collaborating with experienced data professionals.

This 6-month internship offers exposure to data visualization tools and a chance to learn new techniques in a fast-paced Insurtech environment. Hybrid work arrangement is required (3 days in the office).

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a final year of, or recently graduated with, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in SQL is required.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus.

• Assisting in identifying and defining key performance metrics (KPIs) aligned with business and product goals.
• Supporting the development and maintenance of reports and dashboards using data visualization tools.
• Conducting preliminary data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Supporting the preparation, execution, and monitoring of experiments and A/B tests.
• Cleaning and organizing data to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.
• Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to understand data requirements and support data-related requests.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst Intern , you will support the team in transforming raw data into clear and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making across our business and product teams.

You will gain hands-on experience in defining key performance metrics, building data visualizations, conducting data analysis, and supporting experiments. You will work closely with experienced Data Analysts and contribute to real business and product projects while developing your analytical and technical skills.

This role is ideal for final-year students or recent graduates with foundational knowledge of statistics and SQL, and a strong curiosity about uncovering insights from data.

What You’ll Do
