Job summary

PT Bumi Amartha Teknologi Mandiri, a Jakarta-based information technology solutions provider, seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to monitor and secure our networks, respond to incidents, and support audits. The role emphasizes hands-on use of SIEM, XDR, NDR, WAF, and firewalls within a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have 2+ years in cybersecurity or network security, with strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, IDS/IPS, and security frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring and network security tools (SIEM, NDR, XDR, WAF, Firewall).
• Strong understanding of network security concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, IDS/IPS).
• Experience in security incident analysis, investigation, and response.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and other standards.
• Understanding of security policies, risk management, audits and IT compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
• Cybersecurity or networking certifications are a plus.

• Monitor the company's cybersecurity operations and network infrastructure on a regular basis using security tools and platforms such as SIEM, NDR, XDR, WAF, Firewall, and other security monitoring solutions.
• Analyze, investigate, report, and respond to cybersecurity incidents in accordance with established incident response procedures.
• Manage, configure, and monitor network security infrastructure to ensure security, availability, and optimal performance.
• Implement and maintain network security policies and controls based on applicable industry standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and other relevant standards.
• Provide technical support for IT security audits, risk assessments, and compliance implementation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners to develop, improve, and maintain cybersecurity systems and network infrastructure.
• Perform other cybersecurity, network security, and infrastructure-related tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Network Security, Network Engineering, SOC, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring and network security tools such as SIEM, NDR, XDR, WAF, Firewall, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and network segmentation.
• Experience in security incident analysis, investigation, and response.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and other information security standards.
• Understanding of security policies, controls, risk management, audit, and IT security compliance.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Cybersecurity or networking certifications such as CEH, Security+, CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet, or equivalent are a plus.
