IKEA Indonesia in Surabaya is seeking a part-time Customer Relations associate to warmly greet customers, provide directions and assist in their shopping journey. You will support merchandising efforts, communicate ongoing promotions, and help maintain a welcoming store environment during trading hours.
The role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to adapt communication style to local languages and English.
Greet and welcome the customer and be the first face they see when entering the store entrance and providing direction or information to customer to ensure they find the products they are looking for and gives them an opportunity to ask questions
Provide relevant shopping tools to assist customers in their shopping journey
Broadcasting welcoming messages about ongoing activities and food offers that make a strong home furnishing impression to support our identity
Helping with visual merchandising / restocking as needed
Execution of our action plan, which is creating a positive experience for the customers to encourage repeat business
Ensuring the department / work area is effective and efficiently equipped at all times during trading hours for the customer and cost-efficient for the store
Handling complaints in an efficient, accurate and friendly way
We want you to be a person who:
Having background/experience in customer service and/or retail industry will be an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
Having basic computer knowledge
Ability to adjust the style of communication to get the message across to the receiver. Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in local(s) language and English
