Job summary

SF Indonesia seeks a PPJK-certified customs specialist to oversee air freight declarations at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang. You will handle PIB/PEB via CEISA, classify goods with HS codes, and coordinate with airport authorities to ensure smooth inspections.

Role requires 2–3 years of PPJK experience, strong knowledge of BTKI, and ability to manage licenses and reports on a daily basis at the Soewarna site.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs Administration, or related field.
• Must hold a valid PPJK Certificate issued by Indonesian Ministry of Finance.
• 2–3 years of experience as PPJK staff handling air freight customs clearance at Soekarno-Hatta.
• Deep knowledge of CEISA systems, customs regulations, and airport warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process customs declarations (PIB/PEB) via EDI/CEISA.
• Classify commodities per BTKI and assign HS codes accurately.
• Coordinate with customs officers and airport staff to facilitate inspections.
• Monitor status of documents and resolve red channels or revisions quickly.
• Manage import/export licenses, permits, and shipping documents.
• Maintain a daily report of shipments, approvals, and site expenses.

Job description

Main Objective:

• Handle and expedite all customs clearance documentation processes for air freight shipments, ensuring full compliance with Indonesian customs regulations and maintaining smooth operational workflows at the airport customs office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and process customs declarations, including PIB (Pemberitahuan Impor Barang) and PEB (Pemberitahuan Ekspor Barang) via the EDI/CEISA system
• Classify commodities accurately according to the Indonesian Customs Tariff Book (BTKI) and determine correct HS Codes
• Coordinate closely with customs officers, quarantine authorities, and warehouse operators at the airport to facilitate physical inspections or X-ray checks
• Monitor and track the status of customs documents, handling obstacles such as red channels, fiscal valuation adjustments (notul), or document revisions immediately
• Manage and organize all necessary import/export licenses, permits, and shipping documents to prevent delays or penalties
• Maintain an accurate daily report of incoming and outgoing shipments, customs approvals, and operational expenses at the site

Job Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Customs Administration, or a related field
• Must hold a valid PPJK Certificate (Sertifikat Ahli Kepabeanan) issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Finance
• Have at least two to three years of working experience as a PPJK Staff, specifically handling air freight customs clearance at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport
• Deep knowledge of handling CEISA systems, customs regulations, international trade terms, and airport warehousing procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills to manage field operational issues at the port or airport area
• Highly detail-oriented, honest, disciplined, and capable of working under pressure within tight flight schedule timelines
• Willing to be based and perform field duties at the Soewarna operational site, Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang.
