Job summary

Kop. Nusantara is seeking an Insurance Manager to oversee comprehensive insurance programs protecting against credit risks and to ensure debtor coverage aligns with company requirements. You will manage the claims process from submission through settlement and build solid relationships with insurers and brokers.

The role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills, with experience in sourcing and evaluating providers, plus preparing management reports on insurance performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Insurance, Credit Insurance, Insurance Management, Banking, or Financial Services, with managerial experience.
• Strong understanding of credit insurance, debtor insurance, insurance coverage, policies, premiums, underwriting, and claims processes.
• Proven experience in managing insurance programs and claims processes from submission through settlement.
• Experienced in sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and managing relationships with insurance companies and brokers.
• Strong data management and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze premiums, claims, coverage, and insurance performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in preparing management reports and insurance analysis.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing and developing a team.
• Strong negotiation, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic, analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to work effectively with management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance programs to ensure protection against credit risks.
• Ensure debtor insurance coverage complies with company requirements and is properly maintained.
• Manage the insurance claims process, from submission through settlement.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies.
• Monitor insurance premiums, claims, coverage, and risks.
• Evaluate insurance provider performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Ensure accurate and complete insurance administration and documentation.
• Prepare reports and analysis related to insurance management.
