Job summary

PT. FONA JAYA ABADI seeks an experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead design development for residential and commercial interiors.

You will collaborate with clients, sales, and project teams to deliver high-end results and compelling presentations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture with 5+ years of professional experience and is proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and 3Ds Max.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer / Interior Design Lead to lead design development, provide professional design consultation, and support the successful execution of residential, commercial, and project-based interior solutions. This role will work closely with clients, sales, project teams, suppliers, and management, combining strong design skills with excellent communication, project coordination, and client-facing capabilities.

Key responsibilities

Develop creative interior design concepts based on client requirements, project objectives, and brand standards

Prepare space planning, mood boards, material selections, design concepts, and presentation materials

Develop detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and design proposals for client presentations

Select and recommend suitable materials, finishes, colors, and products based on project requirements

Meet and communicate directly with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and expectations

Provide professional interior design consultation and recommend suitable products and materials

Present design concepts and proposals clearly and professionally to clients

Coordinate with sales, project, operations, suppliers, and other relevant parties throughout the project lifecycle

Conduct site visits, site measurements, and project inspections when required

Monitor project progress and ensure design deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines

About you

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related industry

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (spoken & written)

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, 3Ds Max, or other relevant design software

Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, colors, and interior detailing

Strong design presentation and client communication skills

Creative, detail-oriented, and highly responsible

Strong project coordination and problem-solving abilities

Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
