Pengiklan Anonim, an international cybersecurity partner with an Indonesian operating arm, seeks a Country Manager to lead the Indonesian entity, shape strategy, build the team, and own the country P&L and budget.

You will design the go-to-market for the private sector, sign anchor distributor and SI relationships, build the initial pipeline, and coordinate pricing with the principal while navigating regulatory requirements.

We're an international enterprise cybersecurity working in tandem with an Indonesian operating partner, entering Indonesia to bring cybersecurity portfolio to the Indonesian market under local ownership, local support and local compliance.

The portfolio spans three enterprise product lines:

Data security — data discovery, classification and loss prevention

Web application security — web application firewall and application-layer protection

Cloud and workload security — workload protection across on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments

About the role

The Country `Manager holds full operational responsibility for the Indonesian entity: commercial strategy, channel development, regulatory readiness, team building and budget management, reporting directly to the shareholders. The successful candidate will operate as the senior management executive in-country and will shape the organisation, the go-to-market approach and the team that follows.

Key responsibilities

Design and execute the go-to-market strategy, with initial focus on the private sector — financial services, banking and regulated enterprises;

Identify, negotiate and sign anchor distributor and systems integrator relationships across the three product lines, including partner enablement and margin structures;

Build and personally close the initial pipeline, working without the benefit of local reference customers in the early stages;

Develop pricing and packaging appropriate to the Indonesian market, in coordination with the principal;

Drive completion of required registrations and certifications (including PSE registration, relevant national cybersecurity requirements, and local content certification) through to approval;

Build the company's regulatory positioning, particularly around Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP), and ensure it is reflected across sales collateral and customer conversations;

Localise and adapt product marketing and sales collateral for the Indonesian market;

Recruit, onboard and manage the initial commercial and technical team in a phased sequence;

Own the country P&L and operating budget.

About you

Demonstrable personal track record of establishing a technology vendor's distribution in Indonesia — signing distributors or SIs (System Integrators), negotiating commercial terms, running partner enablement;

Cybersecurity or enterprise infrastructure domain depth with sufficient technical credibility to hold a substantive conversation with a CISO or Head of IT Security unaided;

Direct experience with data security, application security or cloud security;

Country or regional leadership experience with full budget and hiring responsibility;

Enterprise sales record in Indonesia, ideally in financial services, banking or other regulated sectors;

Comfort operating without corporate scaffolding — no inherited brand recognition, no marketing budget, no support team on day one;

Working knowledge of Indonesian technology regulation — PSE, UU PDP, local content requirements, public procurement norms;

Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and English.

The Successful Candidate

Builder with strong BD & Sales acumen; comfortable with ambiguity and with unglamorous work;

Direct and evidence-based in reporting, including when the news is bad;

Credible with both a boardroom and an engineering team;

Long-term orientation — this is a multi-year build, not a turnaround or a caretaker post.
