Job summary

Pou Chen Group Indonesia is seeking a Cost Analyst to manage product costing, cost estimates, and variance analysis. You will coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and finance to gather data and ensure accurate cost reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, strong Excel and SAP experience, and the ability to drive cost reduction while maintaining accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Good understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc.).
• Experience with SAP systems is often preferred.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data.

Responsibilities

• Calculating the cost of raw materials, labor, and overhead for products.
• Preparing cost estimates for new products or projects.
• Analyzing production costs and identifying opportunities to reduce expenses.
• Monitoring actual costs versus budgeted costs and investigating variances.
• Maintaining and updating cost data in the company's SAP or accounting system.
• Working with production, purchasing, warehouse, and finance teams to gather cost information.
• Preparing cost reports for management.
• Assisting in pricing decisions by providing accurate cost information.
• Ensuring costing procedures comply with company policies and accounting standards.
