Job summary

PT Bening Big Tree Farms in Indonesia is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence lead to challenge production practices, analyze data, and close gaps between actual operations and SOPs. You will drive KPI monitoring, prioritize projects with senior leadership, and train teams to sustain improvements across lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years in Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence in food/FMCG manufacturing.
• At least 2 years leading improvement programs on production lines.
• Proficient in PDCA, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone, and 8D problem-solving.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and basic statistics.
• Understanding HACCP, GMP, and BRCGS Food Standards.
• Understanding SOP, 5S/5R, and basic workplace safety (K3).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Challenge existing production practices using data and SOPs.
• Evaluate measurement systems and monitor critical parameters.
• Prioritize improvements with Operations Director and QC & Certification Manager.
• Lead process improvement projects: data analysis, root cause, trials, implementation.
• Ensure sustainable improvements through operator training, coaching, and on-site monitoring.
• Transfer proven improvements to process owners for SOP formalization.
• Address Process Excellence findings with process owners.
• Train teams in structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methods.
• Facilitate weekly performance reviews and coach line managers on data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve process issues.
• Report improvement progress and methodology reviews to Operations leadership monthly and quarterly.
• Ensure improvement activities comply with GMP, HACCP, BRCGS Food, organic standards, and HSE procedures.

Job description

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
