Job summary

Seven Retail is seeking a Content Creator Intern to craft engaging social media content, write compelling captions, and support calendar planning for Instagram and TikTok. You will collaborate with the Design and Marketing teams to produce creative assets and help capture photos/videos.

Ideal candidates are pursuing or have completed studies in Communications, Marketing, or Design, with a strong portfolio and fluency in current social media trends.

Qualifications

• Degree or current study in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related field.
• Strong writing skills and ability to craft engaging captions.
• Familiarity with social media trends and platform best practices.

Responsibilities

• Create platform-optimized content for Instagram and TikTok to boost brand awareness.
• Write captions and copy aligned with brand voice and campaign goals.
• Plan, organize, and manage social content calendar for consistent posting.
• Research trends and audience preferences to generate fresh ideas.
• Collaborate with Design/Marketing to produce assets for campaigns.
• Capture photos/videos, perform basic edits, and monitor performance for improvements.

Your Day-to-Day

• Create engaging and platform-optimized content for social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok, to strengthen brand awareness and audience engagement.


• Write compelling captions and content copy that align with the brand voice and campaign objectives.


• Assist in planning, organizing, and executing the social media content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery.


• Research social media trends, audience preferences, and emerging content formats to generate fresh and relevant content ideas.


• Collaborate with the Design and Marketing teams to support campaign execution and produce high-quality creative assets.


• Support content production by capturing photos/videos, performing basic editing, and monitoring content performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or a related field.


• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok, including current trends and content best practices.


• Familiarity with content creation and editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.


• Strong copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging digital content.


• Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


• A portfolio showcasing social media content, creative projects, or personal work is a plus.
