The Construction Manager will lead day-to-day site execution across Samara Lombok projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required quality, within programme and budget. The role requires a hands-on construction leader who can coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders, resolve site issues quickly, and maintain disciplined reporting and documentation.
Lead and coordinate daily construction activities across assigned project areas from mobilisation through completion and handover.
Manage main contractors, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, programme and quality standards.
Review short-term and master construction programmes, identify critical-path risks, and drive recovery actions when progress falls behind.
Monitor site productivity, sequencing, manpower, materials and equipment to ensure efficient execution.
Conduct regular site inspections and coordination meetings, tracking actions through to closure.
Ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, method statements, technical specifications and applicable Indonesian regulations.
Coordinate closely with Architecture, Civil, MEP, QS/Commercial and Procurement teams to resolve design, cost and constructability issues.
Manage RFIs, site instructions, variations, technical clarifications and other construction documentation in a timely and auditable manner.
Support cost control by identifying scope changes early and preventing avoidable rework, waste and delay.
Enforce HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture across all contractors and site personnel.
Oversee quality control, inspections, testing, snagging and handover readiness.
Prepare clear weekly progress reports covering achievements, look-ahead activities, risks, decisions required and mitigation actions.
Escalate material risks promptly and recommend practical solutions rather than allowing issues to drift.
Support contractor evaluation, tender clarification and mobilisation for new work packages as required.
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of relevant construction experience, including substantial site leadership responsibility.
Proven experience delivering complex building, infrastructure, hospitality, residential or mixed-use projects.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site logistics, QA/QC, HSE and contractor management.
Confident reading and coordinating architectural, structural, civil and MEP drawings.
Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving project environment.
Commercial awareness, including understanding of variations, claims, quantities and cost implications of site decisions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across consultants, contractors and internal management.
Working proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Willingness to be based in Lombok and attend active project sites.
Experience with reputable tier-one or major private construction contractors/developers.
Familiarity with project controls and digital construction/document-management tools.
Ability to operate effectively in an owner/developer environment where accountability and speed are equally important.
This role is suited to a practical, accountable professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment and collaborating closely with both office and site teams. The successful candidate should be willing to take ownership, communicate issues early and focus on delivering workable solutions.
