Job summary

PT. United Family Food (Unifam) is seeking a Product Development Staff to drive new formulas and improve existing confectionery products in the lab, with close collaboration to scale up to production at our Jakarta facilities.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of product development experience in the food industry, with knowledge of shelf-life testing, quality control, and halal standards, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology or related major.
• 1–2 years of product development experience, preferably in food or confectionery.
• Experience handling confectionery or ready-to-meal products is a plus.
• Proficient in product trials, shelf-life testing, and quality control.
• Knowledge of halal assurance system, quality management system and food safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Willing to work both in office and factory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop new formula for NPD projects and improve existing product in the laboratory.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to scale up lab formulations to production scale.
• Check and assess ingredients from suppliers suitable for project development.
• Collaborate with manufacturing on improvement processes or commissioning new machines.
• Provide process technology input for new products.
