Job summary

Golden Agri-Resources (GAR) seeks a Social Engagement professional to lead program planning, FPIC facilitation, and community relations in Indonesia. You will map stakeholders, analyze community needs, and coordinate multi-stakeholder efforts to minimize conflicts.

You will design and execute development programs, manage budgets, and report quarterly on progress, risks, and recommended actions. Environmentally conscious leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Forestry, Agronomy, Social Sciences).
• Proven experience in social engagement, stakeholder mapping, and conflict resolution; experience with NGOs is an advantage.
• Proficiency in social engagement tools, including FPIC, stakeholder analysis, and conflict resolution methodologies.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate community.
• A mindset of doing well by doing good, demonstrating environmental and social integrity.

Responsibilities

• Designing short-, medium-, and long-term programs based on community empowerment.
• Determining activities in education, health, economy/MSMEs, environment, or infrastructure.
• Developing Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) and funding requirements for each program.
• Manage program execution with internal teams, vendors, NGOs, or local government.
• Serve as a communication bridge between the company and local communities to minimize social conflict.
• Conduct social mapping and analysis to identify community needs and potential.
• Coordinate field surveys and engagement with community leaders and agencies.
• Facilitate and monitor FPIC processes for projects with international document matching requirements.
• Deliver quarterly stakeholder engagement updates including progress, risks, and next steps.

The overarching objective of this role is to conduct social engagement execution.

Job Description :

• Perencanaan dan Perancangan Program

  • Designing short-, medium-, and long-term programs based on community empowerment (community development).
  • Determining the types of activities, such as those in education, health, the economy/MSMEs, environmental conservation, or infrastructure.
  • Developing the Work Plan and Budget (RKAB) and calculating the funding requirements for each program

• Implementation and Execution

  • Manage program execution in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, NGOs, or local government.
  • Acting as a communication bridge between the company and the local community to minimize social conflict.

• Social Mapping and Analysis

  • Identifying the needs, issues, and potential of communities surrounding the company's operational areas.
  • Conducting field surveys and engaging with community leaders, local groups, and relevant agencies
  • Compiling baseline data from the social mapping to serve as a reference for program development.

• FPIC Facilitation

  • Facilitating and monitoring the FPIC process for projects. Ensure all relevaant document match international requirement

• Stakeholder Engagement Updates

  • Deliver quarterly stakeholder engagement updates, including progress, risks, and next-step recommendations.
