Aman Group's Amandari is seeking a passionate Commis to join our culinary team. You will support kitchen operations, assist with daily prep, and help deliver high-quality dishes in a peaceful Balinese setting.

Ideal candidates have culinary education or hotel kitchen experience, are organized, able to work weekends and varied shifts, and committed to hygiene and teamwork to maintain Aman hospitality standards.

Formación

• Culinary education or equivalent professional kitchen experience.
• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or professional kitchen is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Food Safety and Hygiene Certification is preferred/required according to local regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily food preparation and production as directed by the Chef or Sous Chef.
• Support the assigned kitchen section and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and consistently.
• Prepare and maintain mise en place according to established standards.
• Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and presentation standards.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly prepared, and stored.
• Assist with the preparation and service of food for guests and colleagues.
• Accommodate guest dietary requirements and special requests with care and attention to detail.
• Label, date, cover, and store all food products properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the Chef, Sous Chef, and other Culinary team members regarding preparation, stock, and operational needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across different shifts to ensure consistency and smooth kitchen operations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate the high standards of Aman hospitality.

Location Overview

Join our team in Amandari. Presided over by a sacred stone tiger, Amandari was designed after a traditional Balinese village on the verdant lip of the Ayung River Gorge. Free-standing guest suites are reached via winding pathways, while the curving swimming pool mimics the rice paddies below. Role

Amandari is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Commis to join our Culinary team. In this role, you will support the kitchen team in preparing and presenting high-quality food while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

You will work closely with the Chef and Culinary team to ensure consistent food quality and an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Requirements

• Culinary education or equivalent professional kitchen experience.
