Job summary

Alliance One is seeking a field agronomist to support farmer data management and agronomic coaching in Pamekasan, Madura. You will implement ALP/STP practices, work with tobacco farmers, and help ensure compliance with company programs.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1 year tobacco experience in Indonesia is preferred. You will use mobile apps for data entry, ride licensed motorcycles, and collaborate with Field Supervisors to plan inputs and ensure product integrity.

Qualifications

Fresh graduates welcomed and encouraged to apply.
Preferably with an agronomy background and tobacco culture experience in Indonesia.
Foundational agronomy knowledge and data-entry using mobile apps.
Licensed motorcycle rider with basic English reading ability.
Experience working with farmer communities and compliance programs (ALP/STP).

Responsibilities

Register farmers following company protocols and targets.
Guide producers through field visits and group meetings per the agronomy program.
Fill company documents for producer registration and financing signatures.
Attend collection of debts according to company standards.
Monitor equipment and ensure data integrity on GMS tablets and devices.
Survey production estimates and climate/market information for financing decisions.
Coordinate with Field Supervisor to plan inputs and ensure tobacco delivery per schedule.
Ensure compliance with company policies and ALP/STP guidelines.
