Job summary

PT China Huadian Engineering Indonesia seeks an experienced Operations & Maintenance leader to manage end-to-end coal terminal operations in Bengalon, East Kalimantan. This role requires deep technical expertise in port operations, regulatory compliance, and local talent development.

You will oversee field O&M management, mentor local Indonesian staff, and coordinate with government, community, and port authorities to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-process O&M management experience in Indonesian coal terminals.
• Experience with small to medium coal terminals with loading berths ≤ 80,000 tons.
• Hands on experience with vessel loading systems for 60,000 - 80,000 DWT ships, long distance belt conveyors, and stacker reclaimer equipment.
• Proficient in full process operations of small to medium coal terminals.
• Capable of preparing maintenance plans for 80,000 ton berths, tidal/wind/wave contingency plans, and O&M cost estimates.
• Strong supply chain network for local spare parts, environmental chemicals, and compliant hazardous waste disposal in Indonesia.
• Deep understanding of Indonesian mining, port & marine environmental regulations, labor laws, and maritime/port customs rules.
• Familiar with Indonesian labor standards (salary, BPJS/social security, overtime, severance pay).
• Experienced in building local training systems, conducting hands on field mentoring, and managing localized KPI evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Provide early stage technical research and strategic guidance.
• Oversee comprehensive field O&M management of the Coal Terminal Project in Bengalon, East Kalimantan.
• Build, mentor, and cultivate the local Indonesian O&M talent pipeline.
• Lead multi party stakeholder coordination and alignment across government, community, and port authorities.
