Job summary

Formulatrix is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize CNC machining processes in Salatiga, Indonesia. You will develop and refine manufacturing workflows to improve throughput and output quality.

Responsibilities include evaluating designs for manufacturability from 2D/3D drawings, setting up CAM/CAD processes, and developing jigs/fixtures while controlling costs and schedules. An engineering Diploma (D3/D4) is required, and CNC experience with milling, turning, or laser work is

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma (D3/D4) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Have experience operating CNC machines (milling, lathe, laser, bending).
  • Understand and interpret 2D drawings for manufacturing needs.
  • Proficient in CAM and CAD software; develop jigs/fixtures for machining.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and optimize Manufacturing/CNC machining processes.
  • Assess design manufacturability based on 2D/3D data.
  • Design and implement processes to improve production rates and quality.
  • Manage introduction of new products into mass production with documentation.
  • Control costs and time constraints to maintain efficiency.
  • Perform risk assessments (PFMEA/DFMEA) to identify potential failures.
