Job summary

Trianz is seeking a Senior Application Architect to lead migration assessment and modernization roadmaps across complex enterprise environments. You will translate heterogeneous application estates into structured, executable cloud transformations while aligning with client goals and constraints.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years of IT experience, 5+ years as an Enterprise/Cloud Architect, and strong AWS/DevSecOps capabilities to drive profitable modernization initiatives and win proposals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years as Enterprise/Cloud Architect in large-scale environments.
• 5+ years in application portfolio assessment, migration strategy, and modernization roadmaps at enterprise scale.
• Led assessment engagements for portfolios 50–1000+ applications across heterogeneous tech stacks.
• Expert in R-Treatment decision frameworks with rationale for modernization choices.
• Strong grasp of containerization, serverless, re-platform, and re-architect patterns and trade-offs.
• Hands-on with DevSecOps toolchains and cloud-native architectures; AWS experience preferred.
• Able to build business cases, ROI models, and modernization investment justifications.
• Excellent written communication and board-quality presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale application portfolio discovery and assessment across enterprise environments.
• Design and execute assessment frameworks for technical health, cloud readiness, and modernization paths.
• Conduct and lead interviews with client teams; supplement data with qualitative context.
• Produce formal Assessment Reports with executive summaries, heat maps, findings, and recommendations.
• Design target state cloud architectures spanning web, middleware, and DB layers.
• Architect DevSecOps transformation pipelines including CI/CD and security tooling.
