Job Description

• Architect scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based infrastructures tailored to technical, business, and security needs.
• Formulate and execute cloud strategies, including transitioning on-premises applications to the cloud. Lead initiatives for cloud adoption and transformation.
• Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC), DevOps methodologies, and automation to enhance cloud operations. Seamlessly integrate cloud platforms with on-premises systems and third-party services.
• Establish and enforce security protocols to protect cloud environments, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and others.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and expenditures through strategic planning, budgeting, and performance tuning.

The Successful Applicant

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 5 years of Cloud Infrastructure & Solutioning experience
• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Foundational knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or equivalents.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts, including virtual private clouds (VPCs) and load balancers.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) and implementing basic cloud security practices.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Terraform and containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Skilled in monitoring cloud environments and optimizing costs.
