Job summary

MateCareer is seeking a capable systems engineer to assist in designing, planning, and implementing Linux and Windows operating systems. You will optimize OS performance and SQL queries, and maintain solid knowledge of RDBMS concepts across MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.

The role requires providing production support 24/7, evaluating OS updates, drivers, and patches, and coordinating with developers, operations staff, release engineers, and users to deliver reliable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, planning, and implementing Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Optimize the performance of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Optimize SQL queries, including indexing, statistics, and stored procedures.
• Maintain an understanding of RDBMS concepts, including SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Provide support for 24/7 production operations.
• Evaluate, test, and integrate the latest operating system versions, drivers, and patches.
• Provide technical analysis, troubleshooting, and recommended solutions.
• Provide technical support and coordinate with developers, operations staff, release engineers, and users.
