Job summary

LG Sinar Mas (LGSM) is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and oversee the implementation of cloud strategy, architecture, and infrastructure. The role focuses on secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions to support business needs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, optimize cloud resources, and establish best practices in cloud computing, including deployment pipelines and monitoring. Ideal candidates have 1+ years in cloud engineering and hands-on experience with major CSPs.

Qualifications

• Experience building cloud infrastructure on at least one CSP (GCP/AWS/Azure/Alibaba).
• Experience migrating and managing containerized applications.
• Ability to develop migration plans based on business requirements.
• Knowledge of security standards and regulatory requirements for cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring systems and automation.

About the Role: The Cloud engineer will be responsible for design and overseeing the implementation cloud strategy, architecture, and infrastructure. This role will focus on creating secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions to support business needs. Cloud Engineer will collaborate with internal stakeholders, optimize cloud resources, and establish best practices in cloud computing.

Responsibilities

• Experience in building the best practice cloud infrastructure on Cloud Service Provider


• Experience migrates, configure and manage containerized application


• Develop migration plans and strategies based on business requirements


• Implement and execute migration plans, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations


• Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with security standards and regulatory requirements


• Implement & maintain Monitoring System


• Automate cloud infrastructure setup, deployment pipelines, and routine tasks to improve efficiency


• Perform routine maintenance, including patching, updates, and troubleshooting, to maintain infrastructure health


• Monitor cloud usage and optimize resources for cost-effectiveness


• Stay up to date on cloud application developments

Required Skills

• Minimum 1+ years’ experience as Cloud Engineer


• Have deep knowledge and experience implementing and maintain in at least 1 CSP (GCP, AWS, Azure, Alibaba)


• Scripting - Terraform, Bash, Shell, Python


• Experience with - K8S, Gitlab, Docker, ELK


• Experience of relational, non-relational database, and caching solution - MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
