Job summary

Datacomm is seeking a Backend Developer located in Jakarta, Indonesia, to develop middleware and backend for our cloud services. Key responsibilities include testing applications, deploying code to Git/GitHub, and collaborating with the Fullstack Development team.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in IT and has strong knowledge of backend development technologies like PHP, Python, or Java, along with RDBMS expertise. Proficiency with containers and Linux administration will be a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/Bachelor Degree in IT or related.
• Knowledge and experience in backend application development.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Job description

• Develop middleware and backend for Datacomm Cloud services.
• Test applications/systems that will be integrated into customer services.
• Deploy applications to version control (Git/GitHub).
• Collaborate with the Fullstack Development team to integrate with the customer portal.
• Maintain existing application modules to fix bugs and improve performance.

Requirement

• Minimum D3/ Bachelor Degree ini IT or related.
• Having nowledge and experience in backend application development with PHP/Python/Java/NodeJS, whether using a framework or not.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMSs such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. Experience with NoSQL is a plus.
• Understanding and ability to develop applications with REST APIs and Message Queues.
• Experience using virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V/KVM/Qemu/Openstack/VMware.
• Experience using container and orchestrator technologies (Docker, Swarm, Kubernetes).
• Basic Linux System Administration skills (Ubuntu/CentOS/RedHat/Fedora).
