Job summary

BYD Company Limited is seeking a Chinese Translator to facilitate communication between Chinese and Indonesian staff on site. The role includes translating production documents, assisting in work plan development, and ensuring efficient task allocation.

The candidate should have Chinese language skills (preferred) and advanced English, with a bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and literature. No prior experience is required; training will be provided on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chinese and Indonesian employees with effective communication and on-site interpretation.
• Translate process production documents and assist in work plan formulation and task allocation.
• Accompany the translator and help manage the production site.
• Record, organize, and share meeting minutes; track and relay directives from supervisors.
• Organize translation materials and assist in acceptance work.

【Chinese Translator】

1. Responsible for assisting Chinese and Indonesian employees in effective communication and exchange, on-site translation, translation of process production documents, assisting in the formulation of work plans, reasonable allocation of work, and improving efficiency;

2. Assist in completing position skill guidance for Chinese/Indonesian training translation, document translation, cultural construction, and reception translation;

3. Assist in managing the production site and accompany the translator;

4. Record and organize the meeting minutes of the departments, communicate with the departments, track and convey the various instructions of the superiors;

5. Organize and collect translation materials and assist in acceptance work.

Requirements:

1. Chinese skill is able to speak is preferred, english skill is advanced;
2. Years of experience is not required;
3. Bachelor degree, education major is chinese language and literature
