Job summary

PT Mark Dynamics Indonesia Tbk, a ceramic glove mold manufacturer in Tanjung Morawa, seeks a COO to lead all operational activities. You will translate the Chief Director's strategy into actionable plans, ensure on-time delivery, and oversee raw materials, machinery, labor, and production support facilities to achieve targets.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing with senior leadership experience across Production, PPIC, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering/management field.
• 10+ years in manufacturing; 5+ years in senior operations roles.
• Experience leading Production, PPIC, Quality, Engineering & Maintenance, Logistics and related functions.
• Strong understanding of production systems from raw materials to finished goods.
• Ability to set and manage targets, capacity, labor, and material planning.
• Proven ability to reduce costs, boost productivity, and improve efficiency.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S/5R and other improvement methods.
• Experience with ISO standards and customer quality requirements.
• Experience leading large teams and multiple departments.

PT Mark Dynamics Indonesia Tbk is a ceramic glove mold manufacturing company in the Tanjung Morawa area undergoing expansion. We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of COO (Chief Operating Officer) to lead and control all operational activities of the company.

Key responsibilities

Lead and control all operational activities of the company

Translate the Chief Director's strategy into operational work plans and targets

Ensure production targets are achieved in terms of quantity, quality, cost, and delivery time

Guarantee the availability of raw materials, machinery, labor, and production support facilities

Establish KPIs for each department and conduct periodic evaluations of their achievement

Control production costs and implement efficiency improvement programs

Reduce defects, waste, downtime, production delays, and customer complaints

Ensure consistent product quality in accordance with customer specifications and standards

Develop production capacity based on sales requirements and company growth

Ensure preventive maintenance and machinery repairs are executed effectively

About you

Minimum S1 education in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field

Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing companies, with at least 5 years in senior positions such as Plant Manager, General Manager, Director of Operations, or equivalent

Experience managing all operational departments including: Production, PPIC, Quality Control & Quality Assurance, Engineering and Maintenance, Warehouse and Logistics, Procurement, Occupational Safety and Health, and operational human resource development

Understanding of production systems and processes from raw materials to finished goods

Ability to establish and control production targets, machine capacity, labor requirements, raw material usage, and delivery schedules

Ability to control production costs, increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve machine and labor efficiency

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S/5R, or other operational improvement methods

Understanding of quality management systems and relevant standards such as ISO and specific customer requirements

Experience leading multiple departments and large numbers of employees

Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities
