Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years in naval architecture or marine engineering with senior management exposure.
• Experience with vessel design, construction, and yard operations.
• Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and classification society rules.
• Proven leadership and multi-project delivery capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all naval architecture and engineering design functions, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.
• Direct shipyard operations, including vessel construction, maintenance, and refurbishment projects.
• Manage and develop a team of naval architects, engineers, and skilled shipyard personnel.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all shipyard operations.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
• Drive innovation in design and construction methodologies to enhance competitive advantage.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management and the board of directors.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety awareness, and professional development within the shipyard.
