• Strategic Planning: Create, implement, and maintain an annual risk-based internal audit plan and budget.
• Audit Execution: Lead financial, operational, compliance, and performance audits to assess control efficiency.
• Reporting & Governance: Report findings, risks, and recommended improvements directly to the Audit Committee and senior management.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate company-wide risks, identifying exposures and suggesting mitigation strategies.
• Leadership: Manage and mentor the internal audit team, ensuring high-quality, professional audit execution.
• Compliance & Fraud Control: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies, while designing anti-fraud controls.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with external auditors and management to follow up on corrective actions.
