Job summary

Hilton’s DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Bintaro Jaya seeks a seasoned Chief Engineer responsible for the complete engineering operations of the hotel—systems, plant and equipment. You will manage safety, performance, and budget alignment to guest comfort and asset protection.

Requires 10+ years in hotel/building services with 5+ years at Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer level, strong HVAC, regulatory, and technical proficiency. 24/7 availability and leadership of a skilled team are essential.

Qualifications

Engineering degree or relevant certification.
10+ years in hotel/building services or related field, 5+ years as Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer in a 5-star hotel.
Trade qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing/Gas Fitting.

Responsibilities

Lead facility operations, safety, and compliance of buildings and systems.
Oversee maintenance, inspection, and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems.
Direct capital projects, budgeting, bidding, and permitting for property improvements.
Ensure work orders are fulfilled, documented, and tracked in the CMMS.
Maintain regulatory compliance with government permits and inspections.
Develop and retain a high-performing, engaged team through performance management.
Coordinate communications between Engineering and other hotel areas.
Maintain high guest-service standards with confidentiality.
