Job summary

The St. Regis Jakarta is seeking a Director of Marketing Communications to lead planning, direction, and coordination of all communications activities, with emphasis on public relations to preserve the hotel’s prestigious image and drive revenues.

The role requires a strong background in sales and marketing within hospitality, and requires ensuring teams are aligned with annual plans and budgets. Located at Rajawali Place, this is a full-time on-site leadership position in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
• OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Develops an annual communications plan with specific goals and budgets as outlined in the hotel's marketing plan/communications manual.
• Prepares working plans to achieve goals and ensures the communications team is fully briefed on goals and progress.
• Compares actual achievements against goals on a regular basis and takes corrective action.
• Assists the DOM in the planning of all mailing activities, and oversees their execution.
