About the role
White Rock Beach Club is seeking a Cashier (Daily Worker) to join our Accounting team at our beautiful location in Melasti Beach, Ungasan, South Kuta, Bali. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional financial and customer service experiences to our guests. As Cashier, you will be responsible for managing all cash transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring smooth payment processing at our reception and point-of-sale areas. This position is integral to maintaining the trust and satisfaction of our clientele whilst upholding the highest standards of financial accuracy and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

Process all guest payments accurately using point-of-sale systems, cash registers and payment terminals

Handle cash, credit card and digital payment transactions with precision and attention to detail

Reconcile daily cash drawers and prepare detailed financial reports at the end of each shift

Issue receipts, invoices and payment documentation to guests

Manage billing inquiries from guests and resolve payment discrepancies promptly

Maintain a secure cash box and adhere to all cash handling protocols and security procedures

Provide exceptional customer service at all touchpoints, answering questions and assisting with guest needs

Collaborate with front desk and restaurant staff to ensure seamless payment processing across all departments

Record transactions in the financial management system and maintain accurate records

Assist with general administrative duties as required by the Front Office team

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a cashier or in a similar financial transaction role, preferably within the hospitality industry

Strong numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash and process payments with complete accuracy

Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, cash registers and payment processing equipment

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Exceptional customer service capabilities with a friendly and professional demeanour

Ability to work independently whilst maintaining attention to detail during busy periods

Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work shifts including weekends and public holidays as required

Strong communication skills in English

Honesty, integrity and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of financial information

A team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments
