Job summary

Mitra10 Bali is seeking a cashier for our store operations in Bali. You will process payments, handle multiple payment methods, and provide friendly customer service at checkout.

The role includes till reconciliation, price verification, and assisting customers with purchases to ensure a smooth shopping experience. We offer contract staff with competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for progression within a growing retail team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cashier or in retail customer service.
• Ability to operate POS systems and handle multiple payment methods.
• Strong numeracy skills for cash handling and mental calculations.

• Flexible hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.

Processing customer payments accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash, card, and digital transactions

Providing friendly and efficient customer service at checkout, answering queries and assisting customers with their purchases

Performing regular till reconciliation and reporting any discrepancies to management

Scanning products accurately and verifying prices whilst maintaining a swift checkout process

Following company policies regarding payment procedures, fraud prevention and security protocols

Supporting promotional activities and communicating offers to customers

Maintaining professional appearance and adhering to company uniform standards

Collaborating with team members to ensure the store operates smoothly during peak and quiet periods

What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a Cashier or in a retail customer service role

Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling multiple payment methods

Strong numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash accurately and perform mental calculations

Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and patience when dealing with customers

Attention to detail to ensure accurate transaction processing and till management

Reliability and punctuality with the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak trading periods

Basic mathematical ability and cash handling experience

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment

Communication skills in Indonesian and English (or local language proficiency)

A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and security

Preferred experience in a retail or consumer products environment
