Job summary

Park Hyatt Washington in Washington, DC is seeking a Carpenter (Daily Worker) to assist in maintaining the hotel's facilities through carpentry repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires basic knowledge of carpentry, ability to work safely with tools, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operations. The candidate should be able to work independently or as part of a team and uphold strong safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Carpenter or in a construction/contractor environment.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, woodworking, and construction materials.
• Able to perform repairs and maintenance of furniture, doors, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures.
• Skilled in the safe use of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Detail-oriented with good workmanship and a strong safety mindset.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by operations.
