We are seeking a candidate who has strong knowledge and extensive experience with the Cambridge curriculum and understands the academic and operational needs of a Cambridge secondary school.
Coordinate and oversee the academic programs and daily operations of the Secondary School.
Ensure effective implementation of the Cambridge curriculum across Secondary levels.
Support teachers in curriculum planning, assessment, teaching, and learning.
Monitor students’ academic progress and support appropriate interventions.
Provide academic leadership, guidance, and professional support to Secondary teachers.
Coordinate examinations, assessments, reporting, and other academic requirements.
Work closely with the Head of School and academic leaders to develop and improve the Secondary School program.
Ensure that teaching and learning practices align with Cambridge standards and school expectations.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership.
Support the development and implementation of school policies, procedures, and academic initiatives.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
Several years of teaching and/or leadership experience in a Cambridge school.
Strong and comprehensive knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum and its assessment framework.
Experience working with Cambridge programmes such as Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and AS / A Level.
Previous experience in a coordinator, head of department, or academic leadership position is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of curriculum planning, assessment, and student progress monitoring.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Able to work collaboratively with teachers, students, parents, and school leadership.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
