Role Description

The Business Manager Cab. Pontianak (Heavy Equipment) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pontianak, Indonesia. This role is responsible for overseeing and developing the heavy equipment financing portfolio for the Pontianak branch, including identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and ensuring sound credit and risk assessment. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market analysis, preparing and reviewing financing proposals, coordinating with internal teams for credit approval and documentation, and monitoring contract performance and portfolio quality. The Business Manager will also be expected to lead local sales initiatives, support branch targets, maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and provide regular reporting on business performance to management.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in leasing, financing, or heavy equipment industries.
• Knowledge of financial products, credit analysis, and risk management related to asset-based or equipment financing.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with corporate clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
• Proven organizational and analytical skills, including the ability to manage multiple deals, track performance, and meet targets.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Familiarity with the heavy equipment market and regional business environment is highly beneficial.
• Willingness to travel as needed to Pontianak and other areas, and to work on-site in Pontianak, Indonesia.
