Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management, fleet management, or heavy equipment operations within automotive trades or related industry.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and departmental operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment types, maintenance requirements, and operational standards.
• Excellent understanding of asset lifecycle management and depreciation strategies.
• Proficiency in asset management software and financial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Outstanding organizational and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Indonesian regulatory requirements for equipment operations and safety standards.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Fluency in Indonesian and English language (written and verbal).
• Preferred experience in automotive trades, heavy equipment, or construction sectors.
• Preferred knowledge of inventory management and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Special Asset Management Department, overseeing all heavy equipment assets and related operations.
• Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximise equipment utilisation and ROI.
• Oversee procurement, acquisition, and disposal of heavy equipment with cost-effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
• Manage maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Monitor asset performance metrics and prepare reports on fleet status, utilisation rates, and financial performance.
• Supervise and mentor departmental staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment allocation meets operational requirements and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate asset registers, documentation, and tracking systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join PT MNC Guna Usaha Indonesia as Special Asset Management Dept. Head (Heavy Equipment). This is a full-time position based in Central Jakarta, offering the opportunity to lead and manage our specialised heavy equipment asset division. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of heavy equipment asset management, including procurement, maintenance, allocation, and disposal, whilst ensuring optimal utilisation and profitability across the fleet. This position is crucial to our operational success and directly impacts the company's ability to deliver services efficiently and effectively to our clients.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the Special Asset Management Department, overseeing all heavy equipment assets and related operations

Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies to maximise equipment utilisation and return on investment

Oversee the procurement, acquisition, and disposal of heavy equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and regulatory compliance

Manage maintenance schedules and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure all equipment remains in optimal working condition

Monitor asset performance metrics and prepare regular reports on fleet status, utilisation rates, and financial performance

Supervise and mentor departmental staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability

Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment allocation meets operational requirements and deadlines

Maintain accurate asset registers, documentation, and tracking systems

What we're looking for
