Job summary

Durianpay is looking for a Business Intelligence Senior Associate to transform data into actionable insights that will drive strategic decisions in Indonesia. You will maintain dashboards, perform analyses, and uncover trends to fuel growth across diverse business lines.

You will work closely with Finance, Product, and Ops teams to deliver timely reports, ensure data quality, and support data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, CS, IS, or related field.
• Solid SQL, including CTEs and window functions.
• Turns business questions into clear analysis and recommendations.
• Explains findings clearly to non-technical teams.
• Writes clear documentation and investigates when reports disagree.
• Improves how work gets done and uses AI to automate tasks.
• Curious about how payments work and why businesses choose certain payment methods.

Responsibilities

• Data Quality: Combine data from internal and third-party sources, checking grain, duplicates, and anomalies.
• Analysis & Reporting: Analyze TPV, fees, net revenue, take rate, and CAC by merchant, method, and provider.
• Data Pipelines: Build and maintain Airflow pipelines on AWS, and test, validate, and backfill logic changes.
• Dashboards & Insights: Build fast Metabase dashboards and proactively share insights with stakeholders.
• Reconciliation: Help Finance automate bank and settlement reconciliation and investigate unmatched items.
• Stakeholder Support: Resolve BI requests within SLA across teams, onboarding new data with Data Engineering.
• Documentation: Document queries, data lineage, metric definitions, and SOPs.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related; up to 4 years’ experience.
• Solid SQL, including CTEs and window functions.
• Turns business questions into clear analysis and recommendations.
• Explains findings clearly to non-technical teams.
• Writes clear documentation and investigates when reports disagree.
• Improves how work gets done and uses new tools, including AI, to automate manual tasks.
• Curious about how payments work and why businesses choose certain payment methods.

Nice to have:

• Experience in fintech or payment companies.
• Experience with a BI tool (e.g. Metabase, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Airflow or other workflow orchestration tools.
