Seven Retail is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to build and maintain dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights across operations.

The role involves analyzing data, automating reporting workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve business performance. Strong SQL and dashboarding skills in Looker Studio/Tableau/Power BI/Metabase are expected, with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Familiar with SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY) for data analysis.
• Hands-on dashboarding using Looker Studio/Tableau/Power BI/Metabase.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel for data reporting.
• Exposure to automation tools (Google Apps Script, Python, n8n, Zapier).
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English for cross-functional collaboration.

Your Day-to-Day

• Build and maintain operational dashboards and reports to monitor business performance and support decision-making.
• Manage, validate, and organize operational data to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Analyze operational data, identify trends and actionable insights, and provide ad-hoc analysis to improve business performance and operational efficiency.
• Develop and optimize reporting workflows through simple automation to reduce manual processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, align reporting requirements, and improve reporting effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Familiar with SQL (including SELECT, JOIN, and GROUP BY) for querying and analyzing data.
• Hands‑on experience through coursework, internships, or personal projects using Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase to create dashboards and reports.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookup functions for data analysis and reporting.
• Exposure to automation tools such as Google Apps Script, Python, n8n, or Zapier, with strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Able to communicate findings clearly in Bahasa Indonesia and English, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
