Job summary

PT Global Bintang Property in Indonesia seeks a Business Development Manager to drive localization development strategies for hotel projects, including location models and investments. You will lead strategic cooperation negotiations with Indonesian consortiums, large property developers, and government-affiliated companies.

You will bridge Chinese management with Indonesia's market, manage risk across legal, financial, and regulatory aspects, and travel frequently as required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Indonesian; basic Chinese is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 3+ years in development management, preferably in hospitality, real estate, or chain services.
• Experience leading teams on more than 10 franchise or investment projects.
• Deep connections with Indonesian political, business, or real estate circles.
• Familiarity with Indonesia's regulatory environment, especially foreign-owned hotel operations.
• Strong macro vision, ability to work under pressure, and establish order in blurred environments.

Responsibilities

• Formulate localization and development strategy for Indonesian hotel markets.

Strategy formulation : Deeply analyze the trends in the Indonesian hotel market and formulate a localization development strategy (location model, investment) consistent with cocompanysmage.

Top level design and negotiation : Leads strategic cooperation negotiations with Indonesian consortiums, large property developer, and government affiliated companies and handle commercial terms.

Cross cultural bridge : As the core bond between Chinese management and Indonesia's local market, it accurately communicates business intentions and eliminates cultural barriers.

Risk Control : Audit the legal, financial, and market risks of all contracted projects to ensure the health of the projects.

Requirements :

Fluency in English and Indonesia, basic Chinese will be advantage

Willing for frequent business trips

At least 5+ years of working experience, including 3+ years of development management, preferably from hospitality, real estate or chain services industry.

Having experience to led team to more than 10 franchise or investment projects

Having deep connections with Indonesian political, business or real estate circles

Familiarity with Indonesia's complex regulatory environment (especially foreign owned hotel operations)
