Qualifications

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams including IT Development, UI/UX, and QA in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience in screening, HR technology, or related services is an advantage.

Job description

We are looking for a Business Development Analyst to bridge business needs with product, technology, and operational solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into clear specifications, support application development and testing, and identify opportunities to improve our products, processes, and user experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding business challenges, working with technology teams, and turning requirements into practical solutions.

What you'll do

1. Business Requirements & Process Analysis

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational needs, user requirements, and workflow challenges.
• Translate business needs into clear and structured requirements, specifications, user flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Develop process flow diagrams and other visual documentation to communicate business processes and requirements effectively.
• Work closely with the Head of Product & Solutions, stakeholders, and IT Development Team to validate and finalize requirements before development.

2. Application & Business Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, business processes, and workflows through new features, technologies, and AI-powered solutions.
• Analyze application bugs, issues, and reported tasks to identify root causes, assess business impact, and coordinate with developers through to resolution.
• Prepare and document Change Requests (CRs) for application enhancements and process improvements.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the company’s core applications and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Participate in development planning, sprint reviews, and other project-related discussions.

3. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Validation

• Develop test scenarios, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria for new features and product enhancements.
• Coordinate and conduct UAT with relevant stakeholders and the IT Development Team.
• Document, track, and follow up on bugs, issues, and inconsistencies until resolution.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet approved business requirements and specifications before release.

4. Business & Product Analysis

• Collect and analyze data from applications and websites to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business processes, workflows, and operational methodologies.
• Conduct benchmarking of relevant platforms and solutions to identify opportunities for product and application development.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with UI/UX Designers to develop wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that accurately reflect business requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to align expectations, gather feedback, and ensure effective communication.
• Partner with the IT Development Team to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into functional solutions.
• Perform other ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department.

Who we need

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or in a similar role involving requirements gathering, specification writing, and UAT.
• Experience working within a product or technology department, preferably in a digital application or software environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT Development, UI/UX, and QA, within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience in the screening, HR technology, or related services industry is an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in preparing Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Business Specifications Documents (BSD), user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Familiar with UAT planning and execution, including test scenario design and defect tracking.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, planning poker, and sprint reviews.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for analysis, documentation, and specification drafting is an advantage.

Language Skills

• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
