Job summary

Damac Digital is seeking experienced BMS/IBMS professionals to manage data-centre operations in Jakarta. The role covers field devices, controllers, PLCs, and critical infrastructure within a live colo/hyperscale environment.

You will lead a BMS/EPMS team, ensure uptime, perform monitoring, and drive improvements in reliability, safety, and energy efficiency while coordinating with IT and facilities teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with BMS/IBMS in data-centre environments.
• Background in live data-centre operations and critical infra.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and change-management.

• Lead daily BMS/EPMS operations across Jakarta data centres.
• Manage BMS operator team; monitor, maintain and checks.

• Lead incident response, escalation and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate installations, upgrades and maintenance with teams.
• Maintain technical records including SOPs and MOPs.

Job description

Damac Digital is looking for experienced BMS/IBMS professionals with a strong background in data-centre operations, including BMS, EPMS, automation, PLCs and critical infrastructure. Experience managing systems within live colocation or hyperscale data centres is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation and management of BMS and EPMS infrastructure across our Jakarta data centres, including field devices, controllers, PLCs, cabling, hardware and software.
• Manage and develop the BMS operator team, overseeing system monitoring, daily checks and preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain optimal environmental conditions and support 100% uptime within a mission-critical, customer-facing environment.
• Monitor and analyse system performance to improve reliability, safety and energy efficiency while reducing PUE, carbon emissions and unplanned downtime.
• Lead incident response, escalation, root-cause analysis and change-management activities.
• Coordinate system installations, upgrades and maintenance with operations, facilities, IT teams, contractors and vendors.
• Maintain accurate technical records and operational documentation, including SOPs, MOPs, EOPs and sequence-of-operations documents.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, local regulations and approved PTW, LOTO, change-management and operational procedures.
• Support BMS/EPMS design improvements, budgeting, contract management and the procurement of tools, equipment and critical spare parts.
• Use and maintain approved digital platforms, including BMS, EPMS, DCIM, CAFM/CMMS and BI reporting systems.
