Job summary

Tempo Scan Group is seeking an experienced Branch Accounting Supervisor to oversee SOP implementation across all branches in Finance & Accounting. You will ensure accurate daily accounting processes and timely month-end closing.

You will review journal entries, monitor prepaid rents and balance sheet items, and prepare monthly SOP deviation reports for management. Strong communication and SAP/MS Office proficiency required; willingness to be placed throughout Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 graduate majoring in Accounting from a reputable university.
• 5+ years experience in finance and accounting as Branch Accounting Supervisor.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Willing to be placed throughout Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SOP implementation in all branches for F&A.
• Serve as first point of contact for SOP issues and escalate as needed.
• Act as back-up personnel when branches staff unavailable.
• Prepare monthly reports on SOP deviations.
• Monitor daily accounting processes in branches for proper expense classification and cost center assignment.
• Verify journal entry requests and post journals before month-end closing.
• Monitor prepaid rent journal and ensure underlying documents.
• Review balance sheet items and aging related to deposits, billing, AR.
• Examine and verify trial balance for non-integrated branches monthly.

Job description

• Oversee the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in all branches in the area of Finance and Accounting (F&A)
• Act as the first point of contact for peers in the branches for daily issues related to SOP and be able to analize and elevate the issues to the relevant functions as needed
• Act as the back up personnel when branches personnel are not available
• Prepare Monthly Report for any SOP deviation for management review
• Monitor and ensure daily accounting process in the branches run properly such as accurate expense classification and correct cost centre assigment
• Examine and verify journal entry request from branches to headoffice, prepare the journal memo and post the journal before month-end closing to ensure all data are complete and accurate
• Monitor and track all prepaid rent journal and ensure complete underlying documents in the form of rent or leasing contract (Akta Sewa)
• Monitor Balance Sheet Item among others Pending Deposit, Cancel Billing & Blocked AR etc and ensure no items with old aging
• Examine and verify Trial Balance for branches that are not yet integrated into the main system every month-end closing

Qualifications:

• Minimum S1 graduate majoring in Accounting from a reputable university
• Experience in finance and accounting area for at least 5 years as Branch Accounting Supervisor, preferably in Pharmaceutical / FMCG distributor companies
• Have good communication and numerical skills
• Able to operate Ms Office at the minimum and preferable know SAP
• Have good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hardworking and able to work with tight deadlines
• Willing to be placed throughout Indonesia
