Bali Hospitality Stars is recruiting a General Manager for a small, operating boutique luxury villa resort in South Bali. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on guest experience, financial results and property performance.

You will work closely with ownership, manage an Assistant General Manager and a lean staff, and drive profitability through disciplined cost control and targeted revenue strategies.

Qualifications

• We are seeking a candidate with leadership experience in boutique hospitality, demonstrated guest-focus and strong financial acumen.
• Experience running a small luxury property with lean teams and direct ownership exposure is highly valued.
• Proven ability to diagnose issues, take decisive action and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall resort performance and the management system that delivers it.
• Make strategic decisions on pricing, occupancy, revenue management and direct bookings.
• Control budgets, forecasts and operating costs to improve profitability.
• Uphold guest experience standards and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Lead the Assistant General Manager and other management-level staff.
• Plan workforce needs, salaries, performance, and HR compliance within approved budgets.
• Coordinate major vendor and property-risk decisions with ownership input.
• Lead capital projects and renovations with budgeting, scheduling and quality control.
• Provide weekly/monthly owner reporting with results, risks, and recommendations.
