Job summary

Hita in Lombok seeks a creative, hands-on content creator to shape its online presence. You will independently film and edit short-form videos, capture architecture and local culture, and craft English captions that tell the Hita story across channels.

You will work with the founders and creative team from Are Guling/Lombok to build a distinctive brand presence, ensure a cohesive visual style, and develop campaigns ahead of opening while ensuring authentic content that resonates with audiences.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in content creation, digital media or related field.
• Independent filming and editing of short-form videos from concept to final edit.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Understanding of what makes digital content engage and stop-scrolling audiences.
• Good eye for design, photography, composition and visual storytelling.
• Creative, proactive mindset with ability to work independently.
• Ability to translate brand personality into engaging, authentic content.
• Ability to create content that feels genuine and not overly promotional.
• Must be able to work from the office in Kuta, Lombok.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative ideas for digital content and shape Hita's online presence.
• Film and edit Reels, Stories and other short-form videos from concept to completion.
• Capture photography of architecture, interiors, construction, local culture and experiences around Lombok.
• Write engaging English captions and communicate Hita's story clearly.
• Maintain a consistent visual style and editorial direction across digital channels.
• Plan creative campaigns to build awareness and anticipation before opening.
• Monitor content performance and use audience insights to improve future content.
• Collaborate with founders, architects and creative team to bring ideas to life.
