Job summary

PT Thermax International Indonesia is seeking a Boiler Officer to support operation, maintenance, inspection, and performance monitoring of industrial boilers at customer sites and facilities. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance while aligning with company standards.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in mechanical/industrial/energy engineering, 2–5 years of boiler experience, and knowledge of fire tube and water tube boilers, steam systems, and RCA.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/energy engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in industrial boiler operation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of fire tube boiler, water tube boiler, steam system, feed water treatment, pressure vessel standards, boiler combustion system.
• Able to read P&ID, mechanical drawings and process flow diagrams.
• Familiar with boiler efficiency calculations, energy conservation, preventive/predictive maintenance, RCA.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Job description

Boiler Officer is responsible for supporting the operation, maintenance, inspection, and performance monitoring of industrial boilers at customer sites or manufacturing facilities. The role ensures boiler systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations, company standards, and customer requirements.

Qualification :

Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Related technical disciplines.

Minimum 2-5 years of experience in industrial boiler operation and maintenance.

Good knowledge of fire tube boiler, water tube boiler, steam system, feed water treatment, pressure vessel standards, boiler combustion system.

Able to read P&ID, mechanical drawings, process flow diagram.

Familiar with boiler efficiency calculations, energy conservation practices, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication and reporting skills.
