Job summary

A&O Shearman is seeking a Billing & Collections Specialist in Jakarta to manage the firm’s working capital by billing, invoicing, and collecting payments from clients. The role reports to CFO and requires strong communication in Indonesian and English.

You should have at least 6 years total experience, including 3 years in Big 4, familiarity with SAP or 3E, and a track record of handling complex billing. This 7-8 month contract offers exposure to multinational clients and career development.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years in Big 4 (Audit or Consulting) is a must.
• Total combined working experience of min 6 years is a must.
• Prior working experience in Finance team of reputable multinational companies is must.
• Prior working exposure in Account Receivable department is a plus.
• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting from notable university with min GPA of 3.25
• Prior experience in working with Accounting system such as SAP, 3E etc
• Good numeracy and literacy skill
• Proven track record of handling complex billing structures and ensuring accuracy under tight deadlines
• Advanced skill with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Billing planning and coordination with partners and teams.
• Prepare and review invoices and complex billing scenarios.
• Manage collections and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare regular billing and collection reports.
• Gather and validate supporting documents and ensure compliance.
• Escalate issues and communicate with stakeholders.
